The Project Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the Project Management Office and its team members. To ensure smooth project and departmental operations, this person will assist project managers with project related tasks such as:
- monitoring project progress
- following up on project scheduling and action item tracking
- creating project status reports
- creating project reporting dashboards
- building and maintaining project websites
- setting up project meetings
- recording, transcribing and distributing meeting notes and agendas
This role will also be responsible for tasks within the Project Management Office, including, but not limited to:
- managing project intake process
- preparing and delivering PMO reports to senior leaders and project stakeholders
- maintaining the Project Management Office website, templates, and project lists
- coordinating team meetings
- maintaining document repository
- reviewing operating practices and implementing improvements
- researching tools and techniques to increase PMO efficiency
The Project Administrator reports directly to the PMO Director and will work closely with other cross-functional teams and departments.
**What you will do**:
- Monitoring project progress
- Preparing meeting notes and agendas
- Following up on project scheduling and action item tracking
- Preparing and delivering reports
- Creating and maintaining project sites
**Education, Experience and Technical skills**:
- College diploma or university degree in Business Administration or related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in project administration or a similar role
- Experience working in a digital environment
**Required Soft Skills**:
- Strong verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to successfully multitask
- Natural problem-solver
- Bilingual (A)
- The Project Administrator reports directly to the PMO Director and will work closely with other cross-functional teams and departments.
