To succeed in this role, you will:

- Shape regional strategy by leading the development and execution of operational plans and strategic program frameworks aligned with ministry priorities.
- Advise senior leadership on program implementation, regional trends, risks, and opportunities to influence decision-making.
- Drive stakeholder engagement to inform policy, program design, and service delivery.
- Oversee regional operations to ensure effective program delivery and resource management.
- Strengthen partnerships with Indigenous communities and municipalities to support inclusive economic development.

**Meet Your New Team**

The** Operations Division** leads transportation services across Ontario by developing policies, managing infrastructure, and delivering regional programs. It also builds key relationships with Indigenous and municipal partners to support local needs.

**Regional Operations offices** coordinate all ministry services in their areas, lead local staff engagement, and manage stakeholder and Indigenous relations. Central Operations is one of five offices under the Regional Operations Branch, which ensures integrated service delivery across the province.

- Proven ability to lead inclusive, high-performing teams through values-based leadership.
- Experience in organizational design, talent development, and succession planning.
- Strong track record of delivering results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

**Program and Operational Expertise**:

- Skilled in leading business change strategies to enhance program effectiveness, identify gaps, and implement evidence-based improvements.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles to deliver complex program plans and initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of policy development, operational standards, and ministry decision-making processes.
- Proven ability to coordinate regional programs, allocate resources, and contribute to operational policies and procedures.
