The Diagnostic Imaging and Cardio Respiratory Manager is responsible for the coordination and provision of Diagnostic Imaging and Cardio Respiratory Services for Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC). The Manager will ensure that MAHC provides effective, efficient, and safe technological operation in compliance with all legal requirements and accepted ethical and professional practices expected in a diagnostic imaging and cardio respiratory service in accordance with standards, policies and procedures of the hospital and all regulating bodies.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION**

Current registration with a Regulated Health Professional College, i.e. College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists, in Ontario, College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario

Health Management Degree or equivalent experience

Recognized courses and certifications in leadership, or equivalent experience

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**

Minimum of 6 years of current progressive professional experience as a Medical Professional in an acute care setting

Minimum of 3 years of current progressive management/leadership experience in a unionized environment

**DESIRED EDUCATION**

LEAN Certification

**OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work autonomously, oversee multiple competing projects, and work collaboratively within an interprofessional team environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills interacting with point of care staff, administration and clients and families.

Proficiency in the use Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to adapt to change

As a condition of employment, external hires are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department.

**Salary**: $98,205.00-$107,043.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Muskoka, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
