**Back of House (BOH) Lead - Artie’s on Locke**

Artie’s on Locke, a vibrant sandwich shop and community hub in Hamilton, is looking for a talented and motivated Back of House (BOH) Lead to join our team If you have a passion for quality food, strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food prep, including fresh pasta making
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards
- Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Build and manage schedules
- Collaborate with Leadership on new recipe development
- Maintain kitchen inventory and place orders as needed
- Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols
- Adapt to changing needs and handle challenges efficiently

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in pasta making and recipe building
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Experience with schedule building and kitchen organization
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

**Location**:

- Hamilton, ON L8P 4A9 (preferred)
