Our delivery drivers are crucial to ensuring the timely and safe transport of our products to various destinations, including hospitality and food service establishments, retail locations, and residential homes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete pre
- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
- Deliver products from the warehouse to various customers or retail hospitality industries.
- Follow route and time schedules as set out by management.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments, including cheques or cash, when required.
- Maintain daily inspection sheets, vehicle performance logs, and daily paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service on all calls.
- Utilize navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes.
- Assist with regular vehicle inspections and arrange maintenance when necessary.
- Refuel vehicles and ensure they are always ready for use.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Valid class “D” driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations.
- Ability to drive for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent navigational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift 60-80 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a driver.
- Criminal background check upon employment.

**Objectives of the Role**:

- Deliver to designated locations in a timely fashion.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle.
- Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the public.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience driving in a professional capacity.
- Experience using GPS technology.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with the local area.
