**Wilsons Mechanical is looking for a Skilled Sheet Metal Apprentice**
- **Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and form metal components to exact measurements
- Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as plumbers and electricians
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sheet metal work including fabrication and installation
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Experience is an asset.

**Requirements**:

- Indentured with Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency (NSAA)
- Occupational Health & Safety Certificate (preferred)
- WHMIS Certificate (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Working at heights training (preferred)
- Tools, safety gear, steel-toed boots, safety glasses.

This job may be physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
