**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe specifications and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to health regulations while handling food products.
- Support the cooking staff during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to upholding food safety standards and practices.
