Are you a creative and energetic individual who loves art and enjoys working with people? The Paint Bar in Barrie is looking for a Paint & Pottery Instructor to join our team

About Us:
The Paint Bar is a fun, welcoming, and inspiring creative studio offering painting and pottery experiences for all ages. We specialize in guided paint nights, pottery painting, and creative workshops that bring the community together through art.

Position Details:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Location: 45 Dunlop Street East, Barrie

Hours: Primarily evenings and weekends

**Responsibilities**:
Lead step-by-step painting and/or pottery workshops for both adults and young artists

Provide a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for guests of all skill levels

Set up and clean up materials for classes and events

Maintain a clean and organized studio space (note: this role involves significant cleaning, as art spaces can get messy)

Offer guidance and encouragement to participants throughout their creative experience

Assist with other studio tasks as needed, including customer service and social media content creation

**Requirements**:
Strong artistic skills in painting and/or pottery (experience with slip casting and greenware cleaning is a plus)

Comfortable speaking in front of groups and providing clear, step-by-step instructions

Friendly, patient, and outgoing personality

Ability to work evenings and weekends

Must be comfortable with cleaning and organizing studio spaces

Previous experience teaching, leading workshops, or working in an art studio is an asset but not required
