**What Does a Paving Lead Hand Do?**:
**As a Paving Lead Hand, You Will**:

- Provide leadership to the Paving Crew
- Ensure all products meet specifications
- Tracking quantities for production and payment
- Manage client relationships in a professional and productive manner
- Flexibility with work assignments and resources such as equipment and materials
- Conduct ‘tail gate’ safety talks with staff to review policies and practices
- Ensure safety practices are followed by the crew
- Other duties as assigned

**What You'll Bring**:

- Lead hand experience
- Experience in paving or other related activities is an asset
- Mechanical inclination is an asset
- Strong leadership skills and ability to engage and manage the paving crew
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Available to work 55 hours per week with a willingness to work extended hours and weekends, when required
