Our client, located in **Ingersoll ON**, is looking for a **Buyer** to join their reputable team. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Buyer will be responsible for negotiating and managing the procurement of key commodities, subcontracting, assisting in developing new suppliers, and interfacing with our engineering staff on technical requirements. Technical knowledge of processes (ie machining, heat treatment, UT/MPI, plating) to support subcontractors, engineering, and quality groups is an asset.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and prices.
- Initiate cost savings, track, and support
- Issue and administer Purchase Orders by policies and procedures.
- Purchase materials, and services and manage subcontracting processes in support of production using approved suppliers.
- Monitor and manage suppliers to achieve procurement targets in price, delivery, and quality as well as supplier deliverable requirements and document support.
- Work with engineering, quality, production, and material groups to resolve issues in support of customer requirements and deliveries.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $64,889.00-$70,000.00 per year
