Client Care Representative (Benefits)
**Description**
The Client Care Representative is responsible for administering the_ OpenCircle Benefit Plan_ offerings and to provide benefit plan information, assistance and support to members, employees, and their families in the understanding and utilization of the benefits plans offered.
**Job Duties**
- Process enrollments quickly and accurately
- Assist in the resolution of extended health and dental claim issues by acting as a liaison between employees and the claim adjudicator
- Assist employees/beneficiaries/executors with support on Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Disability Claims. Maintain Benefit Administration System to indicate current status
- Process drug card requests
- Provide immediate and accurate responses to Priority Services clients
- Maintenance of employee or division files when changes are received
- Process NSF notices when received from Accounting
- Maintain records of outstanding premiums
- Other duties as assigned from time to time
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma; Post secondary an asset
- Effectively deal with all clients in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism
- Good judgement, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Initiative in identifying and dealing with situations proactively and persistently
- Great attention to detail
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Demonstrate time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet projected timelines
- Proficiency in computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent computer skills are essential in this role
