**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the cost control cycle throughout the project execution, by setting up projects/mandates, tracking budgets and schedules, within the project management system;
- Calculate the initial budget on the basis of the proposal;
- Ensure tracking of hours, expenses, costs and budget updates;
- Monitor changes and coordination with the project team;
- Evaluate change requests, evaluate their impact on project objectives and communicate changes to stakeholders;
- Ensure and manage the project progress monitoring with discipline managers, including cost and schedule controls;
- Ensure follow-up with project managers on regular updates of project forecasts, including periodic assistance in the estimation of remaining project costs, as well as necessary provisions and risks;
- Records and resolves issues relating to project budgets and schedules;
Ensure the quality of prepared project status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards to provide timely updates on performance.**Requirements**:

- Degree in Administration, Finance, or Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction industry;
- Bilingual (an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required;
- Strong personal IT skills (MS Office suite) and relevant software skills specific to project controls.
- Skills and attitudes required
- Interest for numbers and rigorous in analyzing project costs;
- Autonomy;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
- Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
