Dundas, Canada Tree & Sapling Counselling Centre Full time

This is an exciting chance to join the opening team for Tree and Sapling Counselling Centre, a psychotherapy service for children, teens and families that operates physically in Dundas and virtually throughout Ontario. We are looking to add psychotherapists to our team who are interested in working **primarily** in-office, with option to add on virtual sessions as clients need. Associates work as contractors within our group, giving you the opportunity to operate a private practice without having to manage the business end.

As an associate therapist you have access to:

- Online administrative staff who process referrals, billing and scheduling issues.
- An established physical office within a health collective for additional referral sources.
- Your own profile in our booking software, JaneApp, to provide you with the flexibility to reschedule clients, record documentation, and manage payments as needed.
- Biweekly consultation services available with an experienced clinician, virtually or in person
- Access to additional training opportunities within the practice for continuing professional development
- Flexibility to establish your own schedule while maintaining a minimum caseload

Core Qualifications and Skills:

- Masters in Social Work, or equivalent clinical education
- Current Registration (in good standing) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), or equivalent regulatory college
- Experience maintaining client records and documentation
- 2+ Years of counselling experience, preferably with children and adolescents
- Ability to use different evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches and keep up to date with research and trainings
- Valid professional liability insurance coverage at a minimum of $2,000,000.00 during employment
- Availability of at least 10-15 clinical hours per week, including a minimum of one evening or weekend
- Priority for shifts include Tuesday, Friday, and weekends

The following are considered strong assets, though are not required:

- Experience providing gender affirming mental health services for trans and gender creative youth
- Experience working with clients who are considering or currently in the process of being diagnosed with ADHD or ASD and can collaborate with diagnostic professionals
- Experience and training in working with clients who are struggling with eating disorders, self harm or suicidal ideation, families going through divorce or separation, treating prenatal or postnatal mental health concerns, and/or working with trauma modalities, including EMDR.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: $75.00-$105.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
