**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, coordinate and supervise planned shutdowns of the various plant departments in cooperation with production;
- Recommend and implement solutions to meet the needs of major investment projects;
- Write technical specifications for the purchase and installation of equipment;
- Participate in various meetings related to the project (clients, suppliers, contractors);
- Ensure that the information and documentation systems are efficient and up to date (drawings, methods, procedures);
- Provide technical support to the plant for the resolution of major problems;
- Ensure a safe, clean and healthy work environment is maintained;
- Compile performance measures, notify appropriate individuals of any anomalies regarding production facilities and equipment, use existing technology to track performance indicators and conduct research and monitoring;
- Actively participate in the analysis of anomalies and the implementation of corrective measures;
- Be involved in the implementation of various projects in collaboration with engineering and production;
- Actively participate in the process of requesting capital for the plant's strategic projects (CAPEX) and in the implementation of these projects;
- Ensure the management of parts and stores related to the department;
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans;
- Replace maintenance supervision (illnesses and vacations).
**Requirements**:
- Possess a college diploma in industrial mechanics or engineering diploma or an equivalent;
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in team management;
- Knowledge of production equipment technology, knowledge and use of basic maintenance and management techniques, planning and control;
- Experience in a manufacturing company and/or unionized environment is an asset;
- Have knowledge of micro-computers and know how to use different software associated with logistics and maintenance;
- Familiarity with SAP software is an asset;
