**About the role**
- **Shipper/Receiver/Shop Hand**_

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Receiving and checking orders
- Entering item receipt orders into QuickBooks
- Marking orders for unit/location/truck/job
- Shipping orders to customers
- Unloading trucks and deliveries - forklift skills required
- Shipping parts to locations including packing - some logistics
- Maintaining tool crib
- Organizing and maintaining Crash kit area and cubbies
- Organizing spare parts
- Inspection and cleaning units as they come in from the field - photo and service report documentation, pressure washing
- Parts washing
- Painting
- Hose testing
- Wrapping and boxing orders for shipping - internal
- Maintaining tool crib, including maintaining accountability for tools used, notifying when tools require replacement and maintenance
- Organizing spare parts - input for creating and maintaining systems
- Organizing and maintaining generator parts container - part of stock supervision team
- Organizing and maintaining filter container - part of stock supervision team
- Garbages and recycling
- Snow removal
- Sweeping
- Yard maintenance - including pallets, used oil, reels, mowing, spraying, moving crates, equipment, etc
- Material Transfers as equipment arrives and leaves for work, repair, sale, etc.
- Monthly shop inspections
- Monthly forklift inspections
- Monthly tool inspections
- Pre-delivery inspections and re-stocking of rental equipment

**As Required**:

- Shop cleaning - putting parts away after projects, repurposing areas where parts have been allowed to accumulate
- Moving equipment and parts around outside for maintenance and organization purposes
- Creating and maintaining shop organization protocols and systems
- Yard maintenance - including shoveling, sweeping, mowing, etc.

**Potential Next Level**:

- Customer invoicing
- Pricing for service reports
- Design and maintain internal parts distribution areas
- Parts delivery to remote locations (emergency only)
- Quality control on when units have been deemed ready for work
- Input to supervisors with regards to areas of concern, suggestions for improvement, tool and infrastructure investment suggestions
- Fire extinguisher supervision, including creation of tracking system, re-certification as required for seasonal and client needs
- Building extension cords and electrical cables, and maintaining registration

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leduc, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
