MTY Group is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist who will be responsible for the ongoing development, support, and maintenance of the company Learning Management System (LMS) as well as the administration and coordination for MTY University. This position also supports other learning & development projects as required.

**Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to)**
LMS Administration:
- Manages the LMS and provides support for LMS Brand Admins
- Leads onboarding process for new brands using the LMS
- Ongoing LMS administration - monitor usage, active & inactive users, help tickets, LMS version updates
- Update and maintain learning paths and regional reporting structure in the Learning Management System as required
- Complete, distribute and provide analysis on participation reports including pre and post implementation analysis of KPIs
- Act as liaison for all LMS admins and conduct ongoing LMS admin training
- Conduct testing on new LMS features and ensure regular communication to brand admins regarding new features
- Assist with development, implementation & management of MTY-branded content (compliance, business skills, etc.)
**Online Classroom Support (MTYU)**:
- Coordinate classroom offerings; including schedule management and communication, booking facilitators, managing registrations, creating and providing all materials for participants, post-class administration
- Aid in delivery of effective online classroom training seminars on a range of management and soft skill topics for new franchisees and restaurant managers
- Leverage LMS to automate classroom administration
- Research L&D and industry trends and recommend solutions to innovate learning and engagement
Participation in additional learning & development projects and initiatives
**Qualifications**:
- Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience in training administration
- 3+ years of experience in a training role
- 1+ year experience LMS administration
- Education in adult learning principles an asset
- Basic video editing skills is an asset
- Instructional design experience is an asset
- Some experience in hospitality or service industry is preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be fluent in English & French
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Effective planning, project management and organization skills
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Demonstrated self-starter with ability to multi-task and perform in a fast paced, changeable environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
**Working conditions**
- Occasional travel may be required
- Long hours at times to meet the requirements of the business including evenings and weekends
- Must have use of a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
**Physical requirements**
In this role, this person is required to:
- Stand for extended periods of time training, speaking, and presenting
- Sit for extended periods of time, working on the computer
