Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Manager

John Bear Buick Chevrolet GMC Cadillac Ltd. is seeking a **Sales Manager** to join our team in our New Hamburg dealership. This role requires an entrepreneurial person with a strong work ethic. This position is a great opportunity for someone with a successful track record in inventory management, customer retention and profitability. To become part of the team, you should be up to date with all the latest developments in the motor vehicle industry and have a passion for sales.
Potential Earnings: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year (salary + bonus)
**Responsibilities**:
- Knowledge of the automotive market.
- Lead a sales team with a clearly defined plan in an effort to achieve departmental sales goals, be profitable whilst monitoring expenses.
- Liaise with business development and marketing colleagues to identify needs and develop materials to support sales activities.
- Perform training with sales staff in weekly meetings and offer one-on-one training as needed.
- Desk both new and used deals to maximize profitability.
- Handle any customer issues promptly with an aim to minimize customer inconvenience and maximize the dealerships customer image.
- Work closely and cooperatively with all departments.
- Communicate key competitive activities, market trends, and adapt customer development plans and priorities accordingly.
- Lead, build and train a team that delivers results whilst having fun.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong leadership abilities
- Professional and process oriented with a history of success in sales.
- Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
- Strong communication and customer service skills with focus on client retention.
- A passion for sales
- Positive can-do attitude
- Experience with VAuto and Reynolds is an asset
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Valid OMVIC License
