**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Head Server will oversee the dining room operations, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for guest services, and a commitment to excellence in food service.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Train new servers on restaurant policies, food handling, and customer service best practices.
- Monitor dining area for cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards.
- Assist guests with menu selections, taking orders accurately, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Operate POS systems for order entry and payment processing.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
