We operate three bustling locations within our favourite neighbourhoods of Quadra Village, Dockside Green and Downtown/Beacon Hill at the Parkside Hotel. Our menus are created from scratch, enjoying the bounty of local produce available to us.

We have an immediate opening for an **Experienced Cook**to join our team as an all-rounder for Fantastico kitchens.

**Summary of responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Follow and maintain standards set by Chef to ensure quality and quantity of food meet expectations.
- Support Chef in feature creation, embrace creativity
- Ensure menu items are served in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation.
- Maintain efficient stock levels on the line to ensure a smooth service.
- Handle, store, and rotate stock
- Assist with prep tasks where needed
- Assist in checking and reporting ingredient inventory to Chef.
- Perform closing and opening tasks as scheduled.
- Learn and know how to maintain cooking equipment properly.
- Understand food allergies and demonstrated confidence with how to prepare food for guests with allergies.
- Comply to standards and procedures relating to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and provincial workplace safety standards.
- Communicate with other kitchen staff to build and achieve daily prep lists

- Valid Foodsafe Certified (Level 1)
- Physical fitness, able to work on feet for 8hr shifts, ability to lift up to 50lb to help with receiving deliveries
