Overview:
**Duties**:
- Mix and match paint colors to specifications
- Ensure a high-quality finish that meets industry standards
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling paint and chemicals
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition
**Skills**:
- Experience with industrial painting techniques
- Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and finishes
- Ability to operate painting equipment including sprayers and rollers
- Attention to detail to ensure a smooth and even coat of paint
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with paints and chemicals
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift operation experience
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Proficiency with power tools for surface preparation
- Ability to fabricate or repair surfaces as needed
- Experience with hand tools for painting tasks
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with machining processes
- Ability to operate a crane for moving large materials
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
