Job Summary:
The Family & Practice Supervisor will oversee the Family Support Workers (FSWs), including the After-Hours Coordinators and other family-related services. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all families and clients receive seamless support, proper care plans, and timely interventions. This position requires close coordination with the Operations Manager, Programs Supervisor, Team Leads, and external agencies like FSCD to ensure compliance with care standards, policies, and accreditation requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Family Support Workers (FSWs): Lead, mentor, and supervise the FSW team, including After-Hours Coordinators. Provide guidance, support, and feedback on service delivery.
- Coordination of Family Services: Ensure that family care plans are properly developed, followed, and adjusted as needed. Work closely with families to address any concerns or feedback.
- Practice Standards & Compliance: Ensure that all family-related services comply with Gateway Holistic's policies, accreditation standards, and provincial care regulations.
- Crisis Management & After-Hours Support: Oversee the crisis management protocols in coordination with After-Hours Coordinators. Ensure timely responses and interventions for after-hours emergencies.
- Collaboration with External Agencies: Serve as a liaison between Gateway Holistic and external agencies like FSCD and social services, ensuring clients receive the necessary support and services.
- Staff Development & Training: Organize training for FSWs and After-Hours Coordinators to ensure continuous professional development, especially in family support, crisis management, and client care.
- Family & Client Advocacy: Act as an advocate for families, ensuring their needs are communicated and addressed effectively. Support FSWs in ensuring all client interactions are aligned with Gateway Holistic’s values of trust, security, and respect.
- Accreditation & Quality Assurance: Work closely with the accreditation consultant to ensure the organization meets accreditation standards, monitor service quality, and implement necessary improvements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Oversee the accurate documentation of family support services, crisis management interventions, and compliance reporting. Submit regular updates to the Operations Manager and Director.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, healthcare, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in family support services or supervisory roles within a care or disability services environment. Experience in crisis management is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complex care environments and work with governmental agencies.
- Certifications: First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred), Criminal Record Check, Child Intervention Check.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
