Steward

We are seeking **Steward** for one of our clients in **Squamish, BC.**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Providing excellent customer service by addressing passenger needs and concerns, responding to queries, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction during the voyage.
- Being trained and prepared to assist in emergency situations, including safety drills and potentially aiding in evacuations or emergency responses.
- Providing support and assistance to passengers for any needs related to their cabins, such as replenishing amenities, attending to special requests, and ensuring guest comfort.
- Assisting in the galley (kitchen) with food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
- Assisting in the dining areas by setting tables, serving food, and ensuring a high level of service to passengers during meals.
- Handling laundry duties for passengers and crew, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes, and linens.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters. This includes making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring overall tidiness.
- Providing support and assistance to passengers for any needs related to their cabins, such as replenishing amenities, attending to special requests, and ensuring guest comfort.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing passenger needs and concerns, responding to queries, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction during the voyage.
- Offering excellent customer service by addressing guest needs, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience during their stay.
- Assisting in setting up for events, conferences, or banquets by arranging tables, chairs, and other necessary materials.
- Providing assistance to guests, responding to requests, and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.
- Assisting in restaurants or banqueting areas by setting tables, serving food, and supporting the waiting staff as necessary.
- Handling the laundry for hotel linens, towels, and sometimes guest clothing, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling.

**Requirements**:

- Must have SCTW Code table A-5-Competence for ship security.
- STCW Safety training for personnel providing direct services to passengers in passenger spaces.
- TSM Certified (Generic training).

- $ 19- $20 per hour (Depends upon experience)

- Squamish, British Columbia.

**Full time availability required (Must)**

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Squamish, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
