**Long-term placement with a family in Northwest Calgary You'll be supporting a child with special needs** **who needs one-on-one support. The child can be slightly aggressive at times so experience is preferred.**

**Job Summary**:
Hi there, we're Alto We're an innovative online platform that connects caregivers with families seeking care for individuals with special needs, including both youth and adults. As a vetted caregiver, your role will involve providing personalized support, promoting independence, and creating a nurturing environment for individuals with unique requirements.

As an independent contractor, enjoy the flexibility to set your own availability, choose your own hourly rates, and the freedom to select the clients you work with. We'll make sure that you have access to ongoing support, regular work opportunities, and coverage under our liability insurance coverage.

**Days & Hours**:
Monday to Friday - 7 AM to 2 PM

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
We're looking for caregivers to provide care for a client with special needs, seizures, and behavioural issues. Responsibilities can include:

- Delivering compassionate care and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting the individual with daily activities, therapies, and exercises based on their unique needs

**Qualifications**:
To be considered for this position, you **must** have following qualifications:

- CPR/First-Aid certification from a Canadian-accredited institution
- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (issued within the last three months)

Licence/Certification:
