**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships and support each child's development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's growth and development.
- Employ effective time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with other educators to support children with special education needs and ensure an inclusive classroom setting.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Qualifications**
- Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities (English-French) are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Demonstrated time management skills to efficiently plan lessons and manage classroom activities.
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting all learners.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
