- ** Maintenance Operator - Painter (full-time)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Painting and light carpentry
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks & holes on walls
- Paint, varnish and refinish all interior and exterior surfaces on hotel property including wallpaper and ceilings.
- Maintains a high standard of workmanship and ensures that all building codes and standards are followed.
- Ensures correct and safe use of all power and hand tools
- Ability to identify health hazard in the work place, by separating hazard and non-hazard items
- Keeps a sufficient stock of paint and other supplies required for a regular maintenance schedule
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Be friendly and helpful to all guests

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Maintenance role, preferably within a Hotel environment.
- Able to climb ladders
- Able to carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.
