Trouw Nutrition is hiringWe are looking for a **Dairy Sales Representative** to join our growing Southern Alberta Sales team and partner with an established and growing customer base of valued local ruminant producers This position requires someone who is energetic, passionate about people, the animal nutrition industry, and can take great care of the customers we serve.

We count on your experience to professionally promote and sell Trouw Nutrition values proposition and services to existing and potential customers and establish and maintain good relationships at all levels. You will contribute to, implement and realize the sales/account plan for the assigned account/portfolio, acquire and retain (new / potential) accounts and build and strengthen customer relations in order to realize Trouw Nutrition’s commercial objectives.

**About The Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- As a member of a dynamic team, you will oversee the continued development of the ruminant business for the **Southern Alberta** region by actively promoting and marketing the use of Trouw Nutrition products, and executing feed strategies to increase our market share and feed volume.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly, completely and accurately. Assist customers on-farm to measure results and benchmark performances.
- Analyze sales performances and strategic plans to achieve targets.

**Skills and Expertise**

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education Bachelors’ or advanced degree in animal science, animal nutrition and production, or a related beef production field
- Minimum of 5 (Five) years’ experience in livestock feed sales, Ruminant nutrition and production or related field, with a proven track record of delivering results. Applicable applied experience will be considered
- Enjoy working in team environment and have a strong passion for the Agriculture and livestock industry
- Ability to balance on-farm rations and develop feeding programs considered an asset
