**About Potash**:
In 2021, BHP approved a CA$7.5 billion investment in Jansen Stage 1 in Saskatchewan, Canada, which is aligned with their strategy of growing exposure to future facing commodities in world-class assets. The project is expected to produce 4.35 million tonnes of potash per year with initial production targeted for 2027, ramping up to full production over two years. Jansen potash project is located approximately 140 km southeast of Saskatoon. Potash opens a new front for growth and is an expandable resource that can support a century or more of operations. Potash provides BHP with greater diversification by commodity, country, and customer.

**Purpose**:
Reporting to the Lead IT Service Support, Group Functions, the **Specialist Workplace Technology Potash** will be part of the Workplace Technology Operations team that provides end-user support and exceptional customer service. This temporary term role will be involved in both face-to-face and remote support, which will require excellent communication. This role will also work in both local and global team environments.

- Managing incidents and tasks and ensuring accuracy of task logging and reporting
- Scheduling maintenance of technology on site and working with vendors / suppliers
- Asset management which includes the build of laptops / desktops and onboarding of new staff
- Preparing how-to sessions and training for office staff at the Technology Hub

**About You**:
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with ideas, customer service focus and significant interest in Technology Operations. **Preferably you will be a current student eligible for a co-op work-term or internship, or you will be a recent graduate (1-5 years)**.
- Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, from an accredited post-secondary institution
- It will be an advantage to have support experience
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills

Training will be provided on the technologies that are being supported. You will have excellent time management with the ability to handle competing priorities while maintaining professional communication skills.
