Sample Coordinator

The is responsible for end-to-end Samples. The role requires a detail-oriented person that will own the samples process. This will include the maintenance of the sample room, managing the inventory, selecting the samples for the customer and arranging delivery in a timely manner. As a Samples Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sample management process. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to be a part of a growing organization while still allowing some flexibility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Control and management of the compete sample process across the organization
- Physical receiving and inventorying of all incoming Samples
- Manage the R&D sample area and ensure all samples are properly accounted for and labelled.
- Physical preparation of samples to clients, Sales Representatives, or suppliers.
- Packing and arranging orders for delivery
- Ensure sample room is clean, organized & samples are properly labelled
- Ensure that the sample process is diligently followed by all departments
- Assist with monthly cycle count and reports
- Update and maintain a map of the sample shelves for Food Services Division

**Required Skills**:

- Strong team player with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and passion for excellence.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Works with a sense of urgency and accountability
- Demonstrates common sense and sound judgement
- Very comfortable with systems and technology, good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability and interest in performing small repairs
- Available up to 25 hours per week
- Ability to work independently
- Open to a moderate level of physical work and able to lift up to 40lbs
- Experience with a courier company would be an asset
