**Who we need**

We are looking for a **Production Project Manager**. You will own the development and optimization of the Master Production Schedule and coordinate communication and activities with the Business Unit (BU), Production Control and Operations. In addition, you will present to C-level executives, negotiate with individuals on the production floor and manage the expectations of external partners.

**You will focus on**:

- **
Master Production Schedule.** You will analyze and develop business unit-specific master production schedules set up in weekly increments to establish sequencing and lead times. You will consider and respond to the approval status of orders as they transition from development to production. You will determine manufacturing processes, tools, Departmental schedules and capacity requirements.
- **
Manage change.** You will expedite operations that delay production (i.e., material availability, packaging issues, master sample issues, etc.), alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions and escalate as required. You will coordinate with BU, Production Control, Operations Leadership when changes in timing are required. You will ensure that ALL MPS schedule data is up to date and validated to drive BU and Operational KPIs.
- **
Actively participate.** You will attend regularly scheduled production meetings and communicate project status and escalate any issues, as necessary to the BU, Production Control and Operations. You will coordinate with APM and packaging technicians regarding packaging requirements and work with Production Control to prepare delivery schedules as required by the client.
- **
Prototyping Master Sample Sign off.** You will collaborate with the Team to understand prototyping first-off samples from product development. You will ensure sign-off is obtained and attended by all teams necessary from Engineering to Quality Assurance. You will validate the summary sheet and run IOS Purchase Requisition Reports, confirming that items have been ordered according to job specifications.

The experience.** You have a college diploma in a related field. You have 3+ years in a manufacturing environment and 2+ years in production project coordination, oversight, or management.
- **
The technical skills. **You have proficiency with project management tools and processes, process ordering systems, Microsoft Office (Macros and SQL a plus), and the ability to read CAD drawings and design specifications.
- **
The interpersonal skills.** You have effective and flexible communications skills with the ability to present timelines and metrics. You can build trusting relationships, provide meaningful feedback, manage conflict, and influence without authority.
