HR and Payroll Administrator

We're currently looking for an experienced HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team and take ownership of payroll processing and HR administrative tasks.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in compliance with all applicable regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems
- Assist with employee benefits administration and open enrollment
- Support new hire onboarding, terminations, and employee changes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- Coordinate with the accounting team on payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal employment laws
- Contribute to HR initiatives and assist with internal communication and documentation
**Qualifications**:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll administration and HR support
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, employment laws, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in payroll and HR software (e.g., Sage 50, BambooHR)
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- HR certification is a plus
