**Homestead Marketplace is hiring a Full-Time Cleaner for our Trenton location.**

Homestead Marketplace is looking for a motivated and reliable cleaner to perform general custodial duties (such as cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting) to help keep our store looking its best.

- Motivated and reliable
- A detail-oriented individual
- Able to work independently
- Able to manage your time appropriately

**Your responsibilities in this role**:

- Take pride in keeping our store clean and tidy
- Disinfect high traffic showroom surfaces daily
- Clean/disinfect washrooms including stalls, mirrors, walls, toilets, floors, and sinks
- Clean/disinfect staff rooms including sinks, countertops, appliances, and eating areas
- Empty Garbage/Recycling bins
- Dust furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Vacuum/sweep and spot mop floors where applicable
- Clean glass surfaces
- Restock single unit dispensers containing soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate supply needs
- Practice all Health & Safety procedures and policies

**What you’ll bring to the team**:

- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- WHMIS training is an asset
- An ability to read cleaning instructions
- A level of mathematical skills sufficient to perform calculations such as cleaning fluids ratios
- An ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- A positive attitude and the ability to take initiative
