We are searching for an **Accounting Clerk Student** to join our Finance team based in **Halifax, Nova Scotia.**
This opportunity is for a 3 month term with the possibility of extension.

**About the Opportunity**
- Reconciliation of GLs
- Preparation of journal entries
- Collaborates with accounting team to resolve variances
- Accounting data entry and posting
**About You**
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- Experience in general accounting or finance; working toward degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- Dependability with an outstanding and positive attitude.
- A high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
- Works with mínimal supervision. Demonstrates responsible behavior and attention to detail.
- Responds appropriately to supervision. Follows policies and cooperates with supervisors.
- Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively. Listens to others and responds appropriately.
- Strong organization skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
