WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Zone Distribution Analyst is the primary contact for Western Zone Hyundai Dealer vehicle inquiries. The role helps manage new vehicle inventory, company cars and press units for Western Canada working closely with the Distribution teams at HQ and our logistics partner, Glovis Canada. The position provides reporting, analytics and insights for tracking and decision making. Responsibilities include supporting field staff, external communications to the Dealer network, and office admin functions.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Assist with import, receipt, and distribution of vehicles to Hyundai Dealers in Western Canada.
- Regional office administrator responsible for answering the phone, managing the vendors and supplies.
- Track inquiries, process invoices, sold order management, Dealer trade assistance, and provide delivery ETAs.
- Process orders from Dealers, analyze availability and schedule delivery.
- Liaison between Western Zone Dealer and National team to process requests.
- Gather and provide information relative to shipping schedules, model/color availability, billing and inventory.
- Analyze months of supply by dealership and recommend vehicle distribution strategy to management.
- Manage the internal fleet, including selling and invoicing vehicles to the Dealer network.
- Create and manage team schedules.
- Support District Sales Managers through weekly reporting and addressing Dealer’s needs.
- Prepare and distribute the daily sales report, market analysis and many ad hoc reports for Dealers and management.
- Compile information to create PowerPoint presentation decks.
- Maintain high standards of work quality and communication as a representative of the brand.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in same or similar function.
- Exceptional new grads and MBA holders with little experience will be considered for this position.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong MS Office skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in automotive industry an asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
