We seek excellent students, faculty, and staff to join us in what has become known as the "Western Experience" - an opportunity to contribute to a better world through the development of new knowledge, new abilities, new connections, and new ways to make a difference. **About Us**: **Innovation North**is a research-practice initiative based at Ivey Business School dedicated to tackling complex organizational and societal challenges using systems thinking. **Responsibilities**: - Innovation North is seeking a Learning Innovation Coordinator This is part-time role from October 2025 to April 2026 for an undergraduate or graduate student at Ivey. You will work closely with the organizing team of Innovation North's 2026 Student Challenge, which brings together students from across Canada to address real-world challenges by developing systems thinking and problem-solving skills. As Learning Innovation Coordinator, you can expect to: - Support with marketing and outreach to recruit student participants from across Canada - Respond to inquires from and coordinate with students, faculty, mentors, and volunteers - Conduct research and summarize findings to support the framing of this year's challenge - Assist with event logistics and provide support during the in-person event What we’re looking for: - Strong organizational and communication skills - Proactive, reliable, and a creative thinker - Available for an in-person event taking place April 24-26, 2026 **Education**: - Must be a full time student at Western (enrolled in minimum 3.5 courses), and expect to retain full-time student status for the duration of this appointment **Experience**: - 1 year part time employment or volunteer experience Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - Written and verbal communication skills to express ideas clearly, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience - Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation - Reliable and dependable with the ability to consistently work assigned schedule - Ability to follow processes and practices with high attention to detail - Demonstrates integrity and works in accordance with Western¿s policies and procedures - Computer skills with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use new software programs as required - Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public - Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals - Ability to work in a manner that is compliant with confidentiality requirements as applicable **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
