Level 2 Dental Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for patient use.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care in various specialties, including orthodontics and pediatrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as AbelDent is highly desirable.
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred.
Pay: $22.55-$31.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
