We don't "pack walk" with multiple families. You will also be responsible for checking on cats, dogs and sometimes other small 'pocket pets' in their homes, feeding them, loving on them, scooping cat litter, and ensuring their health and wellness are in 'purrfect' shape while they are in your care We require regular updates to the office and our pet parents, so communication skills are very important This job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too Most of our staff would say its the best job they've ever had **How Much Can I Make?** Our Pet Care Specialists make up to **$1,200** a month, part time (**plus** frequent** tips**) while caring for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens each week For those that transition into Full time, they often make $1900 The more you work the bigger the paycheque. Our staff report that this is the "best job ever" and "allows me enjoy outdoors, relax my brain, while still enjoying and being mindful of the pets". We do care for pets 365 days a year from 7AM - 9:30 PM but nobody is expected to work all time time. Weekend and evening shifts generally rotate about every 5 weeks.. We also get lots of morning, night and weekend requests too So for those of you who want to extra and above, while lovin' on those pets, it's available **Get excited**.... are you going to be our next Pet Care Specialist? Some basic job requirements: - Canadian citizens or legally authorized to work in Canada for at least the next 12 months - over 18 years of age - able to pass a background check - local full-time resident of Newmarket, Aurora, Sharon or Holland Landing - able to receive payment "on the books" (sorry, we do not pay "under the table") - able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire - available FT or PT between the hours of 8am and 4pm, every weekday, plus some nights and weekends as requested in advance and as available.
