A Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for assessing the quality of output on a number of machines within the manufacturing process
- Perform First off inspections on machined parts
- Visually and Dimensionally inspect in process and finished machined parts to ensure the needs of our customers are met and documentation is maintained
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to close tolerances.
- CMM experience preferred -Able to calibrate and change probes and perform basic layout functions including the ability to relate all features back to the part print.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances while maintaining accurate data collection and notes
- Communicate/liaise with relevant departments in quality assurance, material control and production

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability in blue print reading and metrology (use of gauges, measuring equipment, etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
- Team player and able to work well with others
- Position is a days / afternoons rotating schedule
