**_ Project Lead, Family in Settlement (FIS)_**

- We are seeking a full-time Project Lead, Family in Settlement (FIS) is responsible for managing the effective delivery of settlement support services for newcomer’ families to aid in their settlement and integration into the community._

What you will be doing:_**
- _ Work closely with the Director, Settlement and Program Expansion to ensure CCS is delivering relevant and efficient services that address the needs of newcomer families._
- _ Support the Manager in coordinating daily operations of the SIP location._
- _ Supervising, directing, and evaluating the work of the FIS team_
- _ Supervising, directing, and evaluating the work of project staff (e.g. summer students, IIN, student placements)_
- _ Determine staffing requirements based on current and future agency needs, identifying potential skill gaps, turnover, staff secondments and promotions_
- _ Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among team members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the agency to succeed_
- _ Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment_
- _ Develop and maintain service delivery partnerships with other community service providers in support of project activities._
- _ Plan for project development and growth including writing proposals and funding submissions._
- _ Ensure collection and entry of service data into an agency database, OCMS and ensure the reporting of all relevant data into iCARE on a regular basis._
- _ Monitor the project budget and prepare monthly financial reports for the Director and Finance department._
- _ Perform other duties as assigned_

What are we looking for?_**
- _ Undergraduate degree with a specialization in social Sciences, Humanities, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field such as special education, psychology, or other disciplines focused on supporting individuals with special needs, autism, etc._
- _ 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a non-profit environment_
- _ Minimum of one year of experience managing and leading teams_
- _ Demonstrated interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills required to work with clients, team members and the general public_
- _ Demonstrated budget experience including maintaining cash flow and preparing financial reports_
- _ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines_
- _ Possession of a valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a car is an asset._

**_ Compensation:_**_ _$33.90 - $37.73 _based on experience_

**_ Hours of work_**_: _**_35 hours per week_, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime as required._
