_**GRN Pool & Landscape Ltd. **_is looking for a _**Steel Forms Finisher to work part-time as Concrete Pump Operator**_, to join our team_**. **_Our projects are located throughout the Lower Mainland. GRN is a leading contractor in the Greater Vancouver Regional Area, specializing in Pool & Landscape design and construction. _This position includes full-time, permanent, year-round work with a competitive wage & benefits package.

We are looking for a team member who has a great attitude with a very strong work ethic. Is able to place quality shotcrete as per ACI shortcrete standards. Our entire team is energetic and motivated to do high-quality work in the residential and commercial sectors. We are looking for building partners who are looking for a better construction company working experience with a higher purpose. We pay based on experience, skill level & performance. We are looking for someone that will learn and grow with the organization.

**Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour **(dependent on experience)

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Safely operate power equipment and hand tools including operation of pumps
- Experience building retaining walls
- Inspect and maintain nozzles and hoses to ensure proper and safe installation of materials
- Use established methods of communication, such as hand signals, to ensure proper material flow to the nozzle
- Ensure all areas to receive shotcrete are clean, sound and free of loose materials, and that anchors, reinforcement and ground wires are properly placed and spaced
- Assist crew in set up/break down of jobsite tools and equipment
- Cut/grout/concrete and plaster surfaces
- Concrete forming/steel rebar
- Remove and replace cracked and damaged tiles
- Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Cut, surface, plaster, straighten tiles
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Level build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
- Mix, lay and polish stone scapes
- Install tile strips, finish corners and angles if required
- Other duties may be assigned to you by your foreman, project manager or operations manager

**Qualification & Skills**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in concrete finishing
- Must have a class 5 drivers license (or equivalent)
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of proper shotcrete equipment set up and operation
- ACI certified preferred
- Dependability is a must
- Safety training and First Aid will be considered an asset
- Physically demanding - bending crouching, kneeling, requires good attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination
- Require steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
