About the Role
Located on-site in Brampton, Ontario, MJardin Group is looking to hire experienced Cultivation Technicians to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the grow operation and ensure compliance to Health Canada’s Cannabis Regulations. The Cultivation Technician role is responsible for the execution of cannabis cultivation, sanitation, and post-production tasks throughout the Brampton facility pursuant to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete core cultivation tasks and duties as required, including: plant maintenance, taking cuttings, transplanting, trellising, pruning, harvesting, shucking, cleaning the grow and workstations, and maintenance, and monitoring of systems
- Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to cannabis cultivation including but not limited to sanitation, post-production, and processing tasks
- Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and records as directed by the Master Grower.
- Promptly report any deviations from SOP's to Senior Management
- Ensure safe work procedures are being followed and report hazards and unsafe work to Lead Grower or Health and Safety representative.
- Other tasks as operationally required.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 6 months’ work experience with a Canadian License Provider (LP) of cannabis in a cultivation role
- Relevant prior work experience in comparable work environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to read and comprehend technical documents, such as SOP’s
- Comfortable lifting a minimum of 25 lbs. as well as physical dexterity to sit, squat, bend, lift, push, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
