Our Ottawa office is currently recruiting for Administrative Clerk to join our Docketing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate, or someone looking to begin a career in professional services.

Responsibilities.
- Entering due dates, reminders and other information into our file management system
- Processing incoming electronic and physical government correspondence
- Reviewing daily dockets and reconciling submissions to CIPO
- Interacting with agents, lawyers and other team members
- Handling sensitive client information
- Cross-training to learn responsibilities of other roles on the team

Qualifications, competencies and experience.
- One year of administrative or office experience. Previous experience in Intellectual Property or professional services will be considered an asset
- Some post-secondary education
- A great team player with excellent attention to detail
- A strong ability to prioritize a large workload
- Strong oral and written communication skills. This role is English essential, but French language skills would be an asset
- Highly organized and proactive
- High proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software and technology quickly
