**Roles and Responsibilities**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to lead our inside and outside sales teams. The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for driving sales success.
As the Sales & Marketing Manager you will:
- Manage all sales related budgets including travel/entertainment and sample, demo, seeding, promo accounts.
- Ongoing communication from the marketplace to the leadership team.
- Develop, implement and work sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements including standard proposal templates, response language, and other best-in-class proposal development tactics.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to inside and outside sales representatives to ensure they meet their individual and team sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to optimize sales performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to motivate and empower the sales team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and expand our network.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing inside and outside sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel when required to succeed with the sales roadmap you develop.

At Empower, we offer the following to ensure you have a rewarding and enjoyable experience as the Sales & Marketing Manager:
- **Salary** - $125,000 per year paid on a bi-weekly basis via direct deposit and based on a standard full-time work week. Annual performance evaluations will be administered with salary increases commensurate to previous year’s growth and identified future goals.
- **Bonus Structure -**based on both personal and company performance, you will be eligible for a bonus of 10% of your previous years salary to be paid out annually within 3 months after the company’s fiscal year end.
- **Vacation** - Four (4) weeks per year paid time off with increases at 5, 10 and 20 years.
- **Group Benefits Plan**-100% of premiums are covered by the Employer; coinsurance 80% and 20% covered by employee. Medical, Dental and Vision.
- **Health Spending Account**- Employer contribution; dollar amount dependent on family status administered by Health Plan Provider.
