Pipelayer Helper

**KADA**, is seeking three dedicated Topman and Pipelayer Helpers to join our Hamilton/Niagara team for the 2025 season.

This position is a full-time seasonal role and offers competitive wage with benefits. The primary responsibilities, duties, and expectations of this position include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting elevations shots, reading grade, and ensuring pipe placement.
- Communicating with Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.
- Providing continuous inspections of pipes for cracks or deficiencies.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and reports.
- Using and knowledge of various levels.
- Oversight of water and pumps within trenches.
- Willingness to assist in various labour activities required such as setting up chains for rigging, operating small equipment such as plate tampers and jumping jacks, and installing precast structures
- Understand the required general maintenance of equipment in your scope of work requirements
- Valid Class G Driver's license
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work around live sanitary and storm sewers as needed
- Able to work Monday-Friday and when necessary overtime & weekends
- Valid WHMIS
- Valid working at heights certificate.
- Valid Confined Space Monitor/Entry training is an asset
- Must be in or willing to Join Liuna Local 837. Transfers from 183 are acceptable.

Pay: $43.00-$46.00 per hour
