**Job Summary**:

- Greet customers. Answer and direct phone calls. Process transactions.
- Database entry and maintenance.
- Various administration tasks (filing, computer based projects, office cleanliness)
- Analyze swimming pool/ hot tub water.

Recommend proper pool and hot tub care and chemistry.
- A variety of retail store tasks (merchandizing product, showroom organization, etc.)

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service area.
- Obtain and process information required to provide services.
- Operate a telephone system. Answer, screen and forward telephone calls.
- Record and relay information. Send invoices and receive payments.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting and distributing mail, maintaining records, etc.
- Prepare merchandise for purchase.
- Operate a cash register and accept payment for the purchase of goods and services.
- Accept cash, cheque, credit or debit card payment for merchandise.
- Assist in display of products.
- Maintain a cleanly and organized showroom and reception area.
- Perform cash register and credit card balancing.
- Test swim_min_g pool and hot tub water samples.

Discuss type, quality, quantity products required to maintain water
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise.

Provide advice as it comes to pool and spa products and services.
Make follow up phone calls to existing clients.
Ensure complete customer satisfaction with all advice and products.
Prepare merchandise for purchase.
Operate computerized water analysis software.
Maintain a cleanly and organized lab and showroom.
Keep a neat and tidy showroom at all times.
- This includes dusting of product, vacuuming, shelf organization, etc.

Miscellaneous other responsibilities.

**Hours required**:
A variety of store hours will be scheduled up to 40 hours per week.

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $14.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
