Barrie, Canada Catulpa Community Support Services Full time

Catulpa Community Support Services, is assisting a Barrie area family in finding a Support Worker (for 1-1 support) to support their son in home and in community. Their son is in his 20’s, and lives with autism. The family is seeking a full-time support worker.

The young man enjoys swimming (support worker must be able to swim), going out into the community, and taking long walks. He is looking for a skilled/experienced worker to help him with community participation in the activities he enjoys, as well as support within the home. Additional support will include personal care, safety and communication.. Strong experience supporting people with Autism is preferred. Vehicle required.

Availability: Full-time hours are available (35 hrs /week, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, ). Some flexibility required. Monthly schedules developed. Training provided.

Rate of pay: $35 per hour.

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
