Job Description
GlassHouse Botanics Inc, a licensed Cannabis producer, is looking to hire a Operations Administrator. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Administrator will perform a variety of tasks to provide administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations throughout the facility.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Communicate with Operations, Supervisors and Quality Assurance efficiently and in a timely manner to ensure tasks are completed.
- Record completed tasks to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
- Gather information from various sources/departments and interpret the data to reach a logical conclusion that benefits the company.
- Utilize platforms such as Elevated Signals, Isolocity, SharePoint, OneNote, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare accurate, relevant documentation and updating systems.
- Complete a variety of tasks such as data entry, spreadsheet building.
- Provide administrative support to departments throughout the facility.
- Work closely with Operations, Supervisors and Quality Assurance to draft, update, and edit standard operating procedures and work instructions that meet industry and quality specifications.
- Oversee all necessary records and ensure all data is recorded accurately.
- Create file systems for various documents and records by date.
- Support Maintenance Team with coordination of activities, ensure adherence to schedules and documentation of activities is as per procedures.
- General administrative support as needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to treat sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Conduct research or assist with special projects as requested.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
**Conditions of employment**: All applicants being considered for employment will be required to pass a criminal background check prior to hire. Initial screening (Medical examination) of staff may be required. Annual examination may be required annually thereafter.
**Job Specific Demands**: Applicants must be fit and able to lift 50 lbs comfortably. Applicants must be flexible to work variable shifts and have reliable transportation. Hours are full time but may include weekends or evenings, depending on production needs. Some tasks require standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
**Working Conditions**:
- Access to grow rooms and outdoor production areas - exposure to hot and humid environments.
- Tasks may require the use of additional personnel protective equipment such as respirators, Tyvek coveralls and protective goggles.
- Exposure to some hazardous chemicals in a controlled environment.
**Wage and Benefits**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Full benefits after three months. Wage increases will be considered on a yearly basis.
