The Shipping and Receiving coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the shipping and receiving activities. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the department accurately and effectively manages incoming and outgoing shipments.

**Location**:Saskatoon, SK

**Shift Hours**:Day shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

**Wage**: $24/hr+

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Coordinates the activities related to verifying and keeping accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure that outgoing/incoming loads are compliant with Almita procedures and policies
- Collect all shipping/receiving documentation and process transactions through our ERP system
- Manage relationships with suppliers & clients
- Determine shipping/receiving priorities, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Coordinate loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
- Manage logístical requirements for shipping materials
- Manage quality information for incoming material (MTR,ITR)
- Ensure correct entry and categorization of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Ensure that finished goods from inventory are properly selected from the right location and counted for accuracy in accordance with packing slip instructions.
- Assist in the overall inventory/cycle counts for the yard.
- Ensure safe operation of loading equipment at all times.
- Performs other duties as required.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**

The following are required:

- 3+ years experience in a shipping/receiving role
- High level of computer literacy, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows operating system.
- Understanding of ISO and quality assurance standards.
- Experience with inventory and cycle counts
- Ability to comprehend, establish and maintain strategy for raw materials

**Work Environment**:

- Office based with outdoor requirements.
- Occasional exposure to loud noises
- Occasional exposure to extreme weather
- Fast paced with tight deadlines
- Regular work schedule based on 40 hour work week
- Work schedule may vary
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as per company policies.
