Receptionist in Seniors' Centre

The Cridge Centre is the oldest non-profit in BC and has been serving the community for almost 150 years. We are currently looking for a receptionist to work part time Sunday 8-4:30 and Monday 8:30-5.
This person is the first face of the organization and as such is able to relate respectfully, supportively and non-judgementally with seniors, their families, friends and the public, being skilled in courtesy, tact and diplomacy. This person will have a positive and upbeat personality, be self motivated and display initiative, be able to model acceptable ethical standards, be incredibly reliable and punctual, and professional in appearance.
All Seniors' Centre staff are required to have First Aid and respond to any resident emergencies. In addition, they must have a clean criminal record check and current Foodsafe. By order of the PHO all staff must be fully vaccinated against covid 19 with first and second doses.
This position requires Union Membership -- BCGEU Local 301.
