**Sales Representative - Lubricants Products (GTA)**

Transit Lubricants Ltd. is a service-focused, independently owned and operated commercial lubricants distributor based in Kitchener, Ontario. We are a 1st Source Elite Marketer of Chevron lubricants, and carry a wide range of specialty lubricant products including our own private-label Transit brand. From our warehouse facility in Kitchener, our fleet of trucks service our customers from Windsor to the eastern GTA, north to Muskoka, and south into the Niagara Region.

To ensure we continue to provide industry-leading customer service, we are currently recruiting for a **_Sales Representative_** to acquire new accounts, expand our sales to present customers, maintain good customer relations, and offer industry-leading service with all existing commercial customers and prospects.

**As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be required to**:

- Prospect, identify, target, and close new commercial customers for lubricants products with a focus on high-margin business.
- Provide industry-leading service and support to existing accounts as required.
- Implement a strategy to develop new business, and retain current business with product offerings.
- Adhere to a call schedule for your assigned territory as determined in conjunction with the company.
- Be extremely organized; maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all that you do.
- Utilize your experience to look at situations from all angles: sales, operations, and managerial.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimize business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and associations for business development and referrals.
- Continuously review and keep up to date with the latest material for products and services.
- Communicate new products and services to customers.
- Display leadership and professionalism in all that you do, including customer focus, sound business decision making, judgment, new ideas, positive attitude and professional image.
- Actively build and strengthen relationships with customers through various forms of entertainment, which occasionally will be outside of regular business hours.
- _Must be able to commute to Kitchener everyday during first three months of training._
- Experience and/or knowledge of the lubricants and the petroleum industry would be considered an asset.
- Proven success selling into industrial, manufacturing and construction would be an important qualification for this role.
- A minimum of two years selling and working with commercial customers in a business-to-business sales relationship.
- Post-secondary degree is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including professional telephone manner.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills are essential.
- Highly organised with very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persistence demonstrated through a highly energetic and motivated attitude.
- Above-average computer acumen, specifically in MS Office and Excel.
- Experience working with CRM software to record sales activities and pipeline management.
- Commitment to conduct a full-day of sales activity every Monday to Friday in the territory.
- Own your own reliable vehicle for work related sales activities every week Monday to Friday in the Greater Toronto Area.
- High level of confidence and the ability to excel as a “Hunter.” Prospecting and cold-calling is a large part of this role
