To ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently, we are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet for the group of companies.

The Fleet Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance, repair, and overall condition of our equipment. This role involves overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair activities for all of our various types of equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules tailored to the needs of various types of equipment.
- Schedule and dispatch a team of mechanics and maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and tools to perform their tasks effectively.
- Review and report on regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify and address potential issues before they affect operations.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including costs and service histories.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Be familiar with the types of equipment in the fleet and have competencies in reading and understanding technical schematics for equipment repair and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to understand equipment needs and resolve maintenance-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets to control costs and improve efficiency.
- Stay current with advancements in equipment technology and maintenance practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Fleet Maintenance Manager or similar role, preferably within the automotive and/or heavy equipment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for a variety of drilling and blasting equipment. (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management skills to consistently deliver reports on schedule and with accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in mechanical technology or fleet management is preferred.

**Experience**:

- 2 years Fleet Management(required)
- Mechanical / Technician Experience (preferred)
